Today was a good day at The Gathering.  We are still going through Leviticus.  Today was Leviticus 19:2; it’s an urge to be holy as God is Holy.  This isn’t the first time we have heard this because it is found earlier in Leviticus 11:44 and, later in the New Testament, 1 Peter 1:16.  God desires for us to be HOLY [set apart, different, sanctified as a people for Him].  We were ignorant to our sin, that is until the law made known, and now we have an opportunity to

I used the bridge to Holy is the Lord to talk about the prayer night and how there is are a lot of people rising up on behalf of St. Bernard Parish in prayer and for the glory of God.

I introduced Blessing & Honor today.  I love this song because it teaches the different names of God and why we call Him those names.  Then it has the built-in response “blessing and honor, glory and power be unto Your name Oh Lord.”
